For your notary appointment, you must present a valid, government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of identification include:
State-issued driver’s license or ID card
U.S. passport or passport card
Military ID (must include a photo, signature, and identifying details)
Permanent resident (Green) card
Foreign passport (must be stamped by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service)
Tribal ID issued by a federally recognized tribe
The ID must be current or, if expired, issued within the last five years. If you’re unsure whether your identification qualifies, contact me before your appointment.
